Walk Cycle with Narrative

Here's a walk cycle that was due today... this time it's with character and narration. It's not a full on story or anything, just a short test.

Man I'm tired... I didn't have a lot of time to work on this but I did my best with the given time. There's a lot of work to be done! 4 more weeks of school! Hurray! :)

It is quite good, but one thing about your walk cycle bothers me. Most people's feet kick out just before hitting the ground (which you have), but that that kick should be a full extension of the knee joint. In this walk cycle the leg is still bent at the point that it reaches the floor. There is a slight bend in the knee just before the point of contact, but at 12 fps, you can't see it, so try to really extend those legs on your point of contact frame. I know it's a lot of typing for such a minor thing, but I liked your little movie so much, and there was only one thing missing. Keep up the hard work and you'll be at Pixar in no time. BTW, are you going the 3D way, or are you planning on staying 2D? 2D is really cool, but from the experience of my 2D animating friends, it's super hard to find work. You have the skills needed to transfer to 3D (basically, good drawing skills) if you haven't started doing that already.
